An unofficial GTA V browser port at playgta5.com went live on October 6, 2026 and was offline within hours. Reports say it ran GTA V in Chrome on WebAssembly and WebGPU from a package of about 700 MB and was built with AI. Some outlets say it used GTA V's leaked source code (the source reportedly leaked in December 2023). Beebom and games.gg report that Rockstar or Take-Two had it removed, while TalkEsport says neither company has commented and no takedown notice has been published. As of October 8 the site shows a loading screen stuck at "Starting...0%". Look-alike sites have appeared, and outlets advise against downloading anything or entering a login on them.

This page is a short entry. The full write-up (original game, who built the port, how to play, creators and sources) comes next.
We have not confirmed whether it needs your own game files. Unofficial fan project: it can be removed without notice. Not legal advice. Never run a launcher or download from a page you do not trust.
