The original game
Counter-Strike: Source is the 2004 remake of Counter-Strike on Valve's Source engine. Terrorists and counter-terrorists play rounds and win by completing an objective, such as defusing a bomb or rescuing hostages, or by eliminating the other team. It holds 88/100 on Metacritic. Its movement is what the bunnyhop and surf sites rebuild.

The browser version
bunnyhop.lol describes itself as "the real Source movement at 100 tick". Its FAQ says the movement is based on Source SDK 2013 player movement running in WebAssembly. Prespeed out of the start zone is capped at 290 units per second.
It offers hundreds of classic bhop maps rated from T1 (very easy) to T6 (extreme); its preview card says 207. Every map credits its author, for example bhop_1n5an3 by KAENZE and bhop_eazy by 31K4L. Styles are Normal, Legit Scroll, W-Only, Sideways and Half-Sideways.
Your personal-best ghost races you on every attempt. You can also race the world record, and replays are tick-exact with a full viewer, cameras and MP4 export up to 1440p at 120 fps. Each leaderboard run uploads a replay that the server re-simulates, and only a time the server reproduces is ranked.
Online servers are persistent rooms with map rotation, end-of-map votes, RTV, nominations, chat and spectating. The site is free and you can start as a guest, linking Discord or an email later. Chat is stored for 90 days, and the site keeps salted hashes of your network and device details for anti-cheat. It works in current desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with WebGL 2; phones and tablets are not supported.
None of the pages we read name the creator, give a launch date or list a GitHub or X account.
